El chess boxing o ajedrez boxeo, es un deporte que combina el ajedrez y el boxeo. Se empezó a practicar en 2003.
The chess boxing is a sport which combines chess and boxing. It starts to be practised in 2003.
Un encuentro entre 2 oponentes consiste en 11 rondas en las que se van alternando el boxeo y el ajedrez, empezando con 4 minutos de ajedrez y seguido por 3 minutos de boxeo. Entre cada round
hay una pausa de un minuto. En este tiempo, los competidores cambian
su vestimenta. La modalidad de ajedrez es la blitz, en las cuales los competidores disponen de
12 minutos. Pueden ganar por K.O., jaque
mate o una decisión tomada por los jueces cuando el tiempo se ha terminado. Los guantes deben de ser de color negro o rojo.Un draw es un empate de ajedrez que es seguido por una ronda de boxeo. Por tanto, el combate chessboxing lo ganará quien haya acumulado más puntos en boxeo.
A match amongst 2 oppponents consist of 11 rounds where it alternating chess and boxing, starting with 4 minutes of chess followed by 3 minutes of boxing. Among round and round, there´s a pause of a minute. In this time, the competitors change their clothes. The chess modality is the blitz where the competitors have 12 minutes. They can win by K.O., jaque mate or a decision taken by the judges when the time has finished. Gloves musts be black or red. A draw is a tie in chess which is continued by a boxing round. So the combat will be won by the competitor who has acumulated more points in boxing.
