GRACE LAND

Hay vestidos que sólo se pueden poner una vez en la vida y por mucho que te empeñes en vestirlo de nuevo con la esperanza de ser tan feliz como el día que lo estrenaste, al ponértelo de nuevo descubres que no te sienta tan bien y que sería un sacrilegio volver a ponerlo y dejar que perdiera toda su magia, porque hay vestidos que son mucho más que eso y lo vuelves a colgar en el armario junto a la ropa que es sólo ropa...

He elegido este párrafo ya que me ha gustado mucho como hace una reflexion en la que expresa el pensamiento de que la primera vez es mejor que ninguna y cuando ya te ha ocurrido algo varias veces, ya no lo disfrutas como esa primera vez. Es una opinion con la cual estoy de acuerdo completamente y por eso la he elegido.

Yo creo que Grace es una mujer mayor, aunque no demasiado, de unos 50 años que expresa sus sentimientos de amor y añoranza hacia ese amor que vivió en su juventud, o narra sus pensamientos tras un trauma pasado. Creo que Grace es rubia con el pelo corto, muy sensible e introvertida y, por ello, escribe en el blog para desahogarse.

Me gusta mucho la foto de fondo ya que expresa como es la vida, un camino muy trabado en el que al final te conoces a ti mismo ( espejo) y te das cuenta de todo.

There are dresses that can only be put once in life and however contend you on dressing him again hoping to be as happy as the day you put it the first time , to put it back you discover that you do not feel so good and it would be sacrilege to put it back and let it loses its magic , because there are dresses that are much more than that and hang it back in the closet with clothes that are just clothes ...

I have chosen this paragraph because I have liked how he/she makes a reflexion in expressing the thought that the first time is the best one and when you have something already happened several times , you don´t enjoy it as that first time . It is an opinion with which I agree completely and so I have chosen.

I think Grace is an old woman , but not too much, about 50 years who express her feelings of love and longing to love that lived in his youth , or narrates his thoughts after a past trauma. I think Grace is blond with short hair , very sensitive and introverted and therefore, she writes in the blog to unburden.


I really like the background photo as it expresses how life is , a locked way where in the end you know yourself (mirror) and you realize everything.

STUDYING ENGLISH WITH... ISABEL CABRERA!

Isabel Cabrera es una profesora de inglés que  tras haber estudiado en la Universidad de Córdoba, UCO, está cursando un MASTER, en nuestro instituto para poder ser en un futuro profesora de Inglés.
Para ella, Selectividad fue duro, pero la nota de corte para estudiar Filología Inglesa no era muy alta, sobre un 5.9 y fue fácil entrar.
Ya en la universidad, ella estudió asignaturas como gramática, historia (Inglaterra, EEUU, India, Canadá, etc), traducción e interpretación,etc.

También dice que no le gustaría estudiar ninguna carrera más o algo similar, pero querría estudiar para presentarse para las oposiciones para ser profesora de inglés. En el futuro le gustaría ser profesora de inglés, pero si no fuera imposible, le gustaría hacer algo relacionado con la traducción, por ejemplo, para una empresa o eventos.

Como conclusión, Isabel dice que todo lo que aprende no está en los libros.

Isabel Cabrera is an English teacher who after studying at the University of Córdoba, UCO, is pursuing a MASTER in our institute to become, in the future English teacher. 

For her, the University Entrance Examination  was hard, but the cut-off mark to study English Philology was not very high, about 5.9, and it was easy to enter.

 At university, she studied subjects as grammar, history (England, USA, India, Canada, etc.), translation and interpretation, etc.

She also says she does not want to study any more degree or something similar, but she would like to study to be submitted for oppositions to be an English teacher. In the future she would like to be an English teacher, but if it is not impossible, she would like to do something related with the translation, for example, for a company.

As conclusion, Isabel says that all you learn is not in books.

SENTIMIENTO MATERIAL

En el poema falta una parte muy importante, el AUTOR, ya que es un poema medieval, en los que no se mostraba el autor.

In the poem lacks a very importannt part of us, the AUTOR, because it's a medieval poem which it doesn't put the autor.

El "emisor" es probablemente el viejo MAGO MERLÍN, mientas que el protagonista es el REY ARTURO.

The "speaker" is probably the old WIZARD MERLÍN, while the protagonist is the KING ARTHUR.

El paso del tiempo y la muerte, esos son los dos temas principales de este poema. Cuando el tiempo pasa todos llegamos al final de nuestro camino, la muerte.

The pass of the time and the death, they are the main topic of this poem. When the time pass, all of us arrive to the final, the death.


Ávalon es una isla legendaria de la mitología celta en las islas Británicas donde fue forjada Excalibur, la espada del rey Arturo y donde fue curado de sus heridas de la batalla con Mordred. Habitan nueve reinas hadas; entre ellas, Morgana.

Ávalon is a legendary island of Celtic mythology in the British islands where there was forged Excalibur, the King Arthur´s sword and where he was cured of his injury from Mordred battle. Nine queen fairies, between them, Morgana, live there.

El Santo Grial es el plato o copa usado por Jesucristo en la Última Cena. La búsqueda del Santo Grial es un importante elemento en las historias del Rey Arturo.

The Holy Grial is the dish or cup used by Christ in the Last Supper. The search of the Holy Grial is an important element is King Arthur´s stories.



Sir Mordred es un personaje de la mitología celta, hijo incestuoso del Rey Arturo y Morgause, conocido por haber sido muerto por el Rey Arturo y, al mismo tiempo, acabar con su vida.

Sir Mordred is a character of Celtic mythology, incestuous son of King Arthur and Morgause known by have been dead by King Arthur and, at the same time, finish with his life.

MICROMALTRATO.

Literatura moderna, MICRORRELATOS.

Un microrrelato es una narración literaria distinta al cuento o la novela. Su principal característica es que se trata de textos muy breves. También se llaman microcuentos.

Aqui os dejo el mío...

Será verdad que era una inútil. Todo lo hacía mal o al menos eso pensaba él. La araña pensaba en ese gran número de veces que había sido humillada porque no podía hacer bien su telaraña. Bajo el agua de la lluvia, una mirada penetrante y amenazadora la observaba, el miedo había vuelto. En ese momento, sintió la misma sensación. Notó como su cuerpo se derretía ante algo habitual. Al darse cuenta de su situación, escapó de aquel infierno. Nunca más volvería alli.


It will be true that she was an useless. All that she did was bad or, at least, he thought it. The spider thought in that big number of times that she had been humiliated because she couldn´t do well her web. Under the rain´s water, a penetrating and thratening look, observed her, the fear had returned. In this moment, she felt the same sensation. She felt like her body melted before something usual. When she realize of her situation, she escaped of this hell. She´ll never return there.

Un haiku es una forma de poesía tradicional japonesa formada por tres versos de cinco a siete sílabas. Suelen tratar la naturaleza.
